Pear tree lane Farmhouse

~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

Family fun time!!!
written by Sue, January 23, 2011
We have been busy counting sheep around here, the count is now 16 and still climbing.
January is the month of birthdays in our family, we celebrated three this weekend, My mother, brother, and brother-in-love.  Twenty of us gathered at a favorite restaurant and had a great time, I had the privilege of baking the cake for our gathering. just a few pics.
The birthday girl!!

Birthday Brother-in-love!!
Lots of hugs!!! some of us have not been together in a year!
When these two are together, no telling what mischief is in the air!!
Our niece just adores her uncle!!!
She is the matriach  of our family! I am so thankful for Mother, she is a friend, example to all of us.

Oh, Sue! You have a precious family. They look like a representation of Americana, solid, kind, caring, and loving. And what great photos you got of what must have been a fun and memorable time together.

And please tell your Mom your blogging friends think she is so pretty and elegant! (And I love her scarf!)

Sue, just read your most recent post and wanted to stop by and say that I am praying for you...that you will feel better soon, that you will make good use of this down time, that you will feel our Lord's presence as you recover...

I also read the farewell post on your other blog. I don't know how you've kept up with two blogs as long as you have! I applaud your decision to simplify. Actually, it will simplify your readers' lives too, as they won't have to hop back and forth for fear that they've missed something. :-)

Take care...take it slow...take your time recovering. We'll be here when you get back!

Loved seeing your celebration, Sue.

I just read about the other blog, so I will follow this one instead.

I'm so sorry you're sick. That respiratory thing kept me down for the month of Decemeber. So I feel for you and will pray you are up and better soon from that and the vertigo.

I pray you have a special touch from the Lord, Sue.

XOXOXOX,

Sheila :-)

Sue, I am so sorry you're sick! I just read the other post, and the comments were disabled, so I am back here writing.

I had this stuff back in December, and it took me a full month to feel better. I had pushed myself to the limit with things, and then I pushed beyond. I got it from someone to whom I delivered a Christmas present. My resistance was just so low. I am finally feeling better, but it took a solid month. I'm still weak, and do you know, reading this, I'm thinking I might have to postpone something I'm doing. Thanks for sharing.

I don't understand why people go out sick, either. I didn't. Not until I was over it. And then I only went out when absolutely necessary. You take good care and get to feeling better.

XO,

Sheila :-)

So sorry you have to deal with so much pain and discomfort!
You've been on my prayer list and I wanted to e-mail you and tell you I hope you feel better soon. (I misplaced your e-mail)
Take good care of yourself and I wish you a speedy recovery than you expect.
Germs can spread so easily and people do need to be more careful!
Will look forward to when you can post again!

Much Love!
