Romans :3:23-24~ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.
This is what I was before I became a Christian, filled with things that were spoiled , rotted, and not useful at all....... Yesterday, I went to the garage and found the freezer door, just like this, all was spoiled and lost! I didn't give up and throw the freezer away,I could have washed and cleaned it just like it was but that wouldn't work as the spoiled food was still there rotting, no I decided to get rid of the spoiled things, once those spoiled rotting things were gone, I would clean it and it would once again be useful for me.
Psalms 51:7~Cleanse me with hyssop and I will be clean, wash me and I will be whiter than snow.
We got busy, emptied it, washed, dried it and it became clean, smelled of a wonderful fragrance and useful, just like what Christ did for me and you when He shed his blood on a cross. If God had left the sin in my life, it would have become even worse, but He knew he had to get rid of it first, so by confessing my sins, and asking forgiveness, He took them away and cleansed me, and I was whiter than snow, and it doesn't stop there......
Just as we took the rotted food away and disposed of it, God takes our sins away, and remembers them no more. So the next time satan wants to put guilt on you by reminding you of your past sins, say to him "what sin?"
Isaiah 43:25~"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
We thought of blaming this incident on these three because they are always hungry and looking for food, but knew you wouldn't believe us , because they are way too sweet. The freezer door didn't catch, and therefore slipped open. So we have decided to follow God and blot it out and remember it no more. Just being a little more cautious, and double check the door. ~smile~ May you enjoy this most blessed day and rejoice in the "ONE" who gave it.
