~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

~Yellow is beautiful~

Written by Sue,Tuesday, May 15,2012.....          a very beautiful day, temps. high 80's
I am joining Vee and many friends for Her Notecards party~May tonight, These note cards are called...
."Yellow is Beautiful",

These are perennial sunflowers, they multiply so fast, and are very dependable.
Angels trumpet, a very stunning bloom,
A Sunflower, one of my favorite flowers,
An okra blossom, oh so pretty!

"Thank you Vee, for always being such a gracious hostess, I posted these blooms especially for you as I know yellow is your favorite color."

Please feel free to join the party.

A Haven for Vee

Personal note:To all those who stopped by today for my previous post, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to leave such sweet notes, and I will reciprocate tomorrow, as it is late,  and I need time to stay and visit for a while.

Beautiful flowers indeed...and beautiful photographs. I particularly love sunflowers. They are so cheerful!

Vee is a gracious hostess, I agree.

For me? How sweet of you!

Why is it that the color yellow never fails to make me smile? Do you have a color like that or is this a particular quirk of mine?

These would make beautiful note cards for sure. I'd buy a set today!

I would frame every one of those for my home. They would be perfect to cheer up some unhappy spaces. Pink is my favorite color, but why is it that even in flowers I'm just so happy inside when I see yellow?

Maybe my favorite color is really yink or pellow.

I love yellow! Bright and cheerful color. I'd definitely want Note Cards with your flowers. Isn't an okra bloom gorgeous -- and the okra isn't bad either! :D :D Lovely selections for Vee's party! Party On!

Oh yellow, the color of sunshine, lemonade and friendship and all the beauties you photographed too. Those Angel Trumpets look like they came straight out of a fairy tale, just lovely. It would be a joy to receive any of this with a note.

Those are such beautiful shots. Sunflowers are one of my favorites too. They are such a magestic flower and tasty too. I have to keep the seedlings covered up to keep the birds from eating them as soon as they pop out of the dirt!

I love yellow in the garden. The squash I planted from seed have the most beautiful yellow flowers. They bring a smile to my face every time I go out there in the morning.

Oh yes, yellow IS beautiful and you found such lovely examples! I've been away for so long that it almost feels strange blogging again. I loved your conversation with the ladybug... and your tolerance of Mr. Rooster. :)
