Written by Sue, Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 Cold, rainy, just a beautiful fall day.
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint
These plants have been patiently waiting for weeks to find their rightful place in our home, they have been moved from room to room, never flinching once, just sitting and patiently waiting. A lesson I have needed to learn over and over, especially during this remodeling . So many times when I have found myself in situations, and places in my life that I didn't want to be, I would get impatient, wanting it right now.
While waiting in all of the hub of this remodeling and while sitting among the debris they began to flourish some even chose to bloom. It has been amazing to see them just sit there looking like, not a care in the world, knowing that me, their care taker has their best interest at heart, and that I have their back covered. So they just "Wait"!!
"note".. So sad to say they will have a few more weeks of "waiting".~smile~
Isn't it amazing how God will use something as simple as a plant to try and teach me, how to wait patiently for Him.
"Thank you Lord for your patience, while waiting for me to learn the lessons that you teach, I truly love you."
