Our farmhouse has had a complete overhaul both inside and out in the past year, neither one of our choosing, the inside because of a leak within the wall. The outside because of weather conditions.
The inside was completed in December, 2012, we had the house painted this summer and now the roof is being replaced and to be completed on Wednesday!!! Mr. P. is so pleased with this company's work. The last project will be painting floor and ceiling on porch, this is our choosing. ~smile~
I on the other hand have been busy, baking, packing up "love' packages, this time to college kids, and one to a special navy guy. Mr P. and Jack, leaving to mail said packages I bake, pack, and he mails!!
Enjoy your day.
Hugs,
Sue

I love your home! xo
Projects are ongoing, aren't they? But your cared-for home looks so lovely!
I would love to see the happy smiles of the recipients of your packages. :D
Blessings on your week as you serve Him in so many ways...
Already you will have frost? Gosh you are always so busy. You had to have a new roof? You will have a brand new house won't you.
It all looks so good.
How odd to be separated by only a few days on the frost front. I hope that it'll pass you by. If you can get past that first scare, you will have many more warm days.
Ohhhh...the farmhouse is looking grand! If one doesn't keep right on these projects, it all gets ahead of us, doesn't it?!
And your packages are going to be making a lot of grands happy! I am smiling to think of the joy.
I bet it is a wonderful feeling to everything freshly painted and done! And it looks soo good! Your home is one I have a feeling pictures just don't do it justice, it really is soo pretty. And those care packages are so wonderful, and I know are soo appreciated and looked forward to. Long after your gone those packages will still be talked about! Enjoy the rest of your week Sue!
It seems everyone is getting their first frost but us here in Central Pennsylvania! I guess we can wait for that!
I love your house too, and I'm glad you are able to restore it and lovingly keep it up.
What a lovely Grandma you are!
Bless you, Sue!

Such a good feeling when projects are finished and the job was done right. : ) I'm loving my new counter tops!
We've had three frosts already here.
Always things that have to be done! Such a lovely home and farm! Blessings to you and all your family who benefit from your goodies!!
You have such a beautiful home and I know your glad to get things done! The packages will be so welcome! Everyone loves a care package! Sweet hugs!
You seem to never have any "down time." Love your house and I con only imagine that it is a warm and inviting place. Blessings!
A new roof before the hard rains and snow is a wonderful "insurance". When the rain pounds and the snow sits, you will feel a sense of relief.
Love your Farm! It's so beautiful, especially this time of the year.
Hello, dear encouraging Friend Sue.... Wow! Looks like you are a busy bee... buzzing hither-and-yon, baking up special treats for some priviledged folks....
I'm so excited ya'll are getting that gorgeous farmhouse just like you want it....
Hugs and blessings,
Jenni
Hi Sue!
Oh my goodness, that looks like lots of work! It seems like there is always something to keep us busy!
Care packages are so wonderful to receive, especially when there is something made with love, from someone you love - what lucky recipients... :0)
Here in Idaho, we have had frost for about a month or more, morning temps are in the 20's, so all my little tender plant are gone. The garden has been tilled, and we are just waiting for all the leaves to fall off of the trees so that we can clean them up. It's never ending!
Hugs,
Barb

I love your house, Sue. It is so beautiful and I love the pear trees! We had to get our tender plants in too this last week or so. They are all happy in our greenhouse until spring! God bless you dear sister :)
Hi dear Sue, I can't wait to see what changes you've done. Praying this harvest season is a blessed one for you!
Hugs, Noreen
I like the system you and Mr. P and Jack have for getting those boxes from point A to point B. I can imagine the happiness you all will be bringing to the lucky recipients. Love in a box :D.
It sounds like you have had a lot going on all at once with renovations around the farmhouse. Just think how nice it will be when it is all done. Your home is so beautiful!
How's that roof looking these days?!
How sweet your hubby looks with all those boxes! Our front porch needs painting badly but will wait till hubby gets home in the spring. Hope you're enjoying the fall!
I can't comment on your previous post, and I know I commented on this one, but I just wanted to give you a hug.

Sheila
