~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

Very lovely photos. Purples and lavenders are the best colors.

How beautiful! Your notecards illustrate well how colors sort of merge to the next color, such as the top--the periwinkle is purple but headed towards blue I think! Great photos!

I enjoyed your notecards, and I am amazed at how many shades of purple there are - I love them all!

Simply lovely, Sue! What POP to all those deep shades of gorgeous! The Lord God made them all, to be sure! Taking joy in them - as I see you do, too.

Now - where on earth do you live with 80 degree temps at this time of year and planting outside! This South Jersey girl is pretty over winter - more sub zero temps coming next week, too! Ah - spring cannot come to early or stay too long for me this year!
Joy!

What beautiful shades of purple! I love hydrangeas and had a beautiful purple hydrangea shrub in my garden when I lived in Brooklyn, NY, that I miss. I can't grow them here as the deer eat them all. Nice to find your blog through Vee's Note Card Party!

Hi Sue, These are so pretty. Purple/lavender were mother's favorite colors. She had so many flowers in the garden in these colors. Always a pleasure to visit with you here.

I have thought of it often, that He didn't even have to leave us color to enjoy, and yet He did. What an awesome God we serve.

Fruit with a water droplet always makes me thirsty. I should have that photo near the kitchen sink to remind me to hydrate. Yours is the first color theme I have seen this month and you have chosen a beautiful one.

The pictures/cards are just wonderful and I totally agree with your sentiment. I feel the same when I look at shades of pink or even green. Only a supernatural God could have such supernatural creativity.

Absolutely adore your note cards, Sue!! Such beautiful colors... and to think that we will once again be seeing them as spring is upon us. It's hard to believe after the long & hard winter we've had... but as sure as winter follows autumn, spring follows winter. And I'm so grateful!
