Sunday thoughts and blessings!

Written by Sue, Sunday, October 29, 2017            cloudy with showers, temp. 60's love fall.

May the road you travel today be filled with love, joy, peace, and so many blessings so your container overflows, into the container of the person walking beside you.

A kind word or smile will lift the broken hearted, many times I have been the recipient of such kindness, when it was most needed!!!

There is a lady, whom we did not know,  who drives by our farm each day on her way to work, many times Mr. P would be out working as she passed, he waves with a smile. One day she stopped and thanked him, saying there were many times when she was feeling sad, and his wave and smile lifted her spirit.

Small gestures are BIG IN THE EYES OF GOD!

Proverbs, 25:11~ A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

Good Sunday Morning, Sue. What a sweet post. I grew up in a small southern town and when my dad and I would be outside together, he would wave at every car that passed. I would ask, "do you know them?" Most often, he would say "no" but he kept on waving! I find myself doing the same nowdays! God bless your day.

Sue this sounds just like something your hubby or you would do; often your blog posts are just the thing that we need-like a smile and a wave! Sending big hugs your way.

What a lovely story, Sue, and a great reminder that (seemingly) small things count!

We are the recipients of blessing from a lady from our church who honks her horn lightly every tbeeime she passes our house - which could be many times a day. We've told her how much this means to us. Often we're sitting at our table in the kitchen and hear her and we say "Hi, Linda," to the air. Our hearts are warmed knowing someone is thinking of us enough to beep her horn.....

You are so right Sue, I think small guestures of kindness sometimes mean
more because they are so unexpected and can definitely come just when we
need it the most. I think we oft times highly underestimate those small
things acts of kindness or words.

Love the story about your neighbor and so nice that she stopped and took
the time to let your hubby know......cause sometimes we may never know the
impact some small guesture makes....but we need to do them anyway!!

You have a great week,
Blessings, Nellie

I love Sundays!
Great reminder to show LOVE, you never know who you touch.

What an adorable picture of Jack. What is his story?
(did I miss it?)

Hi Sue~

A smile is a free gift! There have been times in my life when a smile meant so much, I try to smile whenever I can, at whoever I can!

I love your donkey, what a sweet face! We had a donkey once who loved pancakes and orange juice - he would pester you until you gave in!! I miss him, his name was, Clown, because he had brown circles around his eyes!

I need to start walking, but it's too cold here - 27 degrees when I woke up this morning...brrrrrr!

Have a great week, Sue!

Hugs and Love,
