I saw that same moon the other night and it looked like somone had drawn a line right down the middle of it and cut it right in half. It is funny how our farm animals are so currious about what is going on around them. Im having a new chicken house built and you should see everyone checking it out, even the horses. I wished I had my camera one day, Boogie stuck his head through the whole that is for a window and stole an apple from one of the workers....it was funny. The girls are really funny, checking out the new house and their new chicken door. Checking out the tools. I love watching the animals. Sometimes its fun to watch people too! Your writing about him makes me think he must be a lot like my dad was.<br />Also I didn't realize that the ash from the fire would be good on the garden. Explains why my dad always burned the leaves in the garden and emptied the wood stove ash there too. Maybe I should rake the last few up and have a little fire in my garden too.MamaMonkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13949599723947973014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7057606934247237658.post-6484076503092891092011-11-05T18:16:26.046-04:002011-11-05T18:16:26.046-04:00I loved your "end of a perfect day!" fro...I loved your "end of a perfect day!" from the fire, to the delicious meal, to the fur/feathered friends, and finally to the handsome hubby of yours. Ha! See where my mind goes. You are blessed to be able to have a fire...we'd be doused so fast by the local fire department. No one can build a fire without a permit and then only for specific reasons. Maybe potash would count for one of them. Anyway, I miss a fire in the evening out of doors and the smell of the leaves burning. Nothing like it. This post took me back. (Now as for all this competition for your beloved's affection...you're going to have to do something about it!)Veehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618654361869856894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7057606934247237658.post-36573410815093293612011-11-05T13:35:27.425-04:002011-11-05T13:35:27.425-04:00When we lived in Northern NJ we had leaves, leaves...When we lived in Northern NJ we had leaves, leaves and then more leaves.
