Pear tree lane Farmhouse

~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

~Love fall colors most of all~

Written by Sue Friday, September 13, 2019, hot, hot, humid, 90's heat index over 100

Though the calendar, nor the weather says fall, I am enjoying fall inside, Smiles are contagious, when someone smiles at you, you automatically smile back.Try it, it works, smile first, and see what happens,we never know how much we may brighten someones day.
Counting my blessings, and placing them in the "fall blessings jar," to be read on Thanksgiving Day!

"Am I weighing you down, could it be the pumpkin pie?"

 Love the colors of fall!
One of the reasons we celebrate harvest time, giving thanks, for our many blessings, sharing, caring, and for friendships!
"Your secret is safe with me."

I am also anticipating my holiday baking season. Pumpkin pie is number one on my list, dh says the decorations and candles reminded him of one, do you think that was a subtle hint.
It has been a busy week for us, we are in the process of scheduling  knee replacement surgery for Mr P.. That means lots of pre-op appointments ,the surgery will take place sometime between Nov., Dec, or Jan. Talk about waiting. Whew!
Have a great day, remember to ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Love,
Sue

Oh my gosh, I am in love with your littles. I have a small amount of fall out..mostly my tiered tray and a couple of baskets. Everyone making fun of me for wanting it to be fall, but I honestly do not like summer at all anymore. I think I have had enough of it, so come on fall (or at least some cooler temps!)

Hope you can stay cool today. Love seeing fall on your blog. I have put a couple things up and will add more next week. Saying a little prayer for good pre-op and scheduling for that knee replacement. Remind us later and I'll pray for a good recovery, too! Happy weekend to you.

Such cute decorations!! I just love the idea of the blessing jar! It would remind us of even more things to be thankful for, come thanksgiving. I do hope you find out the surgery date soon! Let us know. I can put him on our church prayer line, as well.

Oh, Sue!
Your decor is stunning!

My favorite.
Have a beautiful weekend, my friend.

Very autumnal here! Have always liked autumn colors, too. Knee surgery? Lots of folks in Blogdom going that route. I am sorry that it has come to that, but glad there are answers in this day and age.

Your Fall decorations are beautiful. I love the colors. It's a shame the doctors can't be a little speedier. I hope your hubby gets his appointment soon. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

It's hotter than a pistol here but I've still got my touches of fall out and around. Love your touches!

I can't believe that there is no fall in my house yet! But I went to a friend's house for coffee this afternoon and her house looked -- and smelled -- beautifully autumn! And here you are with all of your fall pretties!

Despite the heat, I am going to have to give in. You girls have inspired me!! ~smile~

Praying that Mr. P's preliminaries go smoothly as he prepares for surgery.

Love all your fall decorations! It is my favorite season even though it is still hot in Texas!
I’m having knee replacement surgery in January. I opted to hold out so I could enjoy the fall - and help Louis Dean as we restore our back yard/gazebo area....and Christmas. I will be cutting back on the Christmas decorating and hostessing since that’s the month for all the pre op appointments. I had my right knee replaced 11 years ago and that changed my life. I would be a cripple today if not for that surgery. I shall pray for your beloved.....life is better with good knees!

Such sweet decor, Sue! I especially love the Blessings Jar! Like many people Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the smells, the falling leaves and the slowing down of life for a bit...even if just for a while!

Thank you for always stopping by. Trying to start blogging again is TOUGH!
