Pear tree lane Farmhouse

~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

~All God's Creatures~

Written by Sue, Friday, September 6, 2013     beautiful sunny, temps. 80's low humidity.
Here are a few visitors to the farm, that I was able to capture with my camera lens. I love nature, and if you think your children and grandchildren might like these feel free to download them.
These were feasting on my blueberry bush. I wasn't to impressed with these.
 I found this one napping.
This one just wanted to strut his stuff. Dragon flies are very friendly, and love to pitch on our shoulders, or hands.
This one is a first for me, look at the details, his skin looked and felt like leather. If you can identify please let me know. God certainly has a sense of humor, only a mother could love this face. ~smile~
As you can see it doesn't take much to entertain me. Though I have been very productive this week, making applesauce, and apple juice. I can now say the  apple trees in the orchard are bare of fruit.whoopee!!! I added no sugar, didn't need any, but know if I want to I can add spices and sugar later. So nice to know I can pronounce the ingredients in the applesauce...apples and water.
I have no fall decorations up inside the farmhouse yet, hopefully next week.
Until next time,
love,
Sue

Dear, dear Sue, I just caught up on your last few posts - always bring a smile to my lips and a song to my heart! Love all your produce - mine is/was very slim this year, but am thankful for every jar I've put away! Your photos are so fun! Thank you for the sweet post about your mom - she is so lovely and what a treasure to be able to share some time with her! My mom has been gone 14 years now - but I do have wonderful memories of her. Now I try to be the mom to my girls that God desires me to be.

Blessings and hugs in abundance sent your way!

Wow! I am totally impressed with your photography...really good pictures! Somehow I just know your applesauce is wonderful. I did get my test results back and I am not diabetic, however my fasting blood sugar is a little high so I really do need to watch my diet. I need to lose weight. But with my knees and not being able to exercise much it is soo hard. Thanks for the prayers Sue, I SOO appreciate it. Have a wonderful week-end!

Pandora Sphinx for the leathery brown guy, but is that second photo a frog? I think an inquisitive mind is a healthy one!

The older I get the more in awe I am of God's creativity in designing our world and all that lives in it!

Oh Sue! I love the dragonfly...the others I'd rather see from a distance. I prefer critters with fur. ~smile~

You have been a busy gal...no shocker there! You're going to enjoy that yummy applesauce this winter!

No autumn decorations here either. We've been too busy this week with Ron off from work. Maybe Monday...

Have a great weekend, friend!

I love nature, too, and marvel at God's creations. But, I am like the other Cheryl and prefer critters with fur. However, I do like the dragonfly. :)

The applesauce looks so good. It made me think of my dad. He used to put applesauce in a glass of milk! Yuck! I never could figure out why he would want to do that. Oh, the things we never forget! Ha!

Love your nature photos!! And I also like to can things with minimal ingredients. I've been making/freezing lots of spaghetti sauce with just veggies and herbs (and ok a "pinch" of brown sugar too .. lol). -Tammy
