~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

~The calm after the storm~

Written by Sue, Sunday, September 8, 2019  hot, humid, 90's
For us, sheep quietly grazing in the pasture, confirms the calm after the storm.

Just a note to say, how thankful dh and I are that we had minimal damage during hurricane Dorian!
The winds blew some of the screens out on the porch, plants a little weary, lots of rain.
It has taken us  the last few days to repair and clean porch, pick up debris surrounding the pond.
Next we must find and repair  the leak in the roof, which leaked through the ceiling in the living room.  A leak is so minor compared  to complete loss of homes and life.

However our neighbors in the northern part of our state, suffered extensive damage, we also had a lot of tornadoes touch down inland and  along the coast  way before the storm came, which also did much damage. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected with the loss of family members and homes.

Romans 12:15~ Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Thank you to all who were concerned and  prayed!

Love,
Sue
