~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

This one looks like a moth, anyway he like to throw kisses, too!

One of the first signs of spring at the farm is when I see the butterflies! They are so graceful, fluttering back and forth from flower to flower! Sometimes I will find at least twenty or more on one plant, I run to get my camera, but they must know what I plan to do, so much so, that  they play cat and mouse with me! Even at my age I love to chase them, a very funny sight to see.
I am joining Vee, and many others for April's Note Card Party, always so much fun! Thank you Vee for being such a gracious hostess.
Easter Blessings to All
love,
Sue

Oh Susan...such wonderful butterflies! I have not seen any here yet but I hope we have as many as last year. The one of the purple Butterfly Bush with the yellow butterfly looks so very similar to ones that I took last year. There is bush that color outside of the office where I work and last summer there were probably 12-15 butterflies all at one time...it was awesome! These photos surely make a very lovely box of cards! Have a blessed Easter!

When the butterflies come I know that it's really going to be summer, some day. Lovely photos for note cards.

Oh how my Miss Whimsy would love this one. She is the ultimate butterfly girl. I had to keep a close watch on her as a little one because she was prone to chasing them right out of the yard and down the street.

Beautiful photos with wonderful colors, Sue!

Great butterflies - you captured them so well. I have stood in my garden for so long taking one shot after another trying to get good butterfly pics. So glad we have digital cameras these days - no wasting of film! How would we have done this blogging thing back in the day . . .
Beautiful blog - look forward to visiting again!
Joy!

Wow, those are beautiful Sue! I love butterflies too. We planted some mild weed last year hoping to attract some butterflies for Mary to watch but no luck. It came up earlier this year so maybe this year:)

Hello Sue, What a lovely title of your Blog. I must tell you I did pin one picture of the Butterfly! I am sorry if this was against your better idea, I would never Pin a person as I would not anyone to do it to me. Sorry I did not ask permission.
