~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

Sue~

With all my love

Hello, dear friends, please overlook any grammar, and spelling errors that might be in this post as I am now home recuperating with bed rest from some  recent mini strokes and other health issues! I have missed everyone so much , you have been in my thoughts over the past weeks so much. When I started blogging eight years ago never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that I would forged such wonderful friendships, you truly mean the world to me! I have always measured my friendships this way,... that when ever I see or hear from you that we would pick up right where we left off, and that is just what we here in bogland have always done!

The Doctors have told me of how lucky I am as I have no paralysis,  the strokes however affected my vision but it is slowly coming back, as I can attest by me being able to write this post, I can hardly wait to visit you all once again !

I told them I am not lucky but so blessed! I  am also looking forward to sharing with you about the Christian Dr with whom God sent to pray with me when I first entered the hospital!
God is so faithful, in the movie The War Room I remember the line "God cannot be fired and He does not quit"! PRAISE HIS NAME FOR EVER MORE! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY CARE GIVERS THROUGH THIS TIME OF RECOVERY TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

With all my love,
Sue

Oh dear Sue I will pray for you and your recovery and your caregivers. PTL that he sent that doctor to pray with you, too. May God's healing hand be on you and I pray you will be comfortable while you heal. Hugs!

Sweet friend, Angela and I were just talking about you a couple of days ago and how much we miss your posts. I read to her the card you sent me for Mother's Day and we talked about what an encourager you are and what a great mom you have. We've never met you face to face but you've had that kind of influence on us and many, many others. So hard tobe hearing the disturbing news of your health, but elated at the wonderful news of your recovery. I will be praying for you and praising God for His mercies, and look forward to hearing about the doctor you speak of. Take good care of you!
Hugs....

Oh Sue you've been on my heart soo much recently and now I know why! I am soo glad you are recovering and didn't suffer any long term issues with the mini strokes! I will add you to my daily prayer list! The older we get the more there is to deal with isn't there? My list gets longer everyday. But it's sooo comforting to know that at the end of the day we know are just passing through and someday we will sit in His presence with our PERFECT bodies and visit to our hearts content and praise Him. But in the meantime KNOW that you are loved by a great many, and most of all by Him, and take GOOD care of yourself. MUCH LOVE to you! Debbie

Precious Sue, I heard about this from another blogger, who knew I kept up with you! Praise God for your recovery. Just a few weeks ago Benjamin ask if we could possible come to see you this summer. We both talked about how coming to see you one day was on our bucket list. We are praying for you...I told Benjamin today you were having some health issues. Do know we are covering you in prayer!!! We love you lady. Rest up, heal and what a joy to see you blog. I can't seem to get around to blogging, but still think of so many all the time. Hugs!!!!

Sue, I had to come looking for you this morning because you've been on my mind all week. I can't believe that you have been going through all this! Now I will know how to specifically pray. I am amazed that The Lord has brought you safely along without some of the complications that too often come with mini strokes. God bless you, Dear Friend. Look for some snail mail in the days to come. Love you!
