~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

Sue~

An update

Just a quick note each day brings renewed strength and hope for a soon full recovery! Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and prayers!
I never gave to much thought about how much part the brain played toward my vision, (science was not my favorite subject) I just thought that if the eyes were working then you could see, well it doesn't work that way  and my brain is not telling my eyes to work together. I am told eventually it will all come together! Sue needs some patience, and I think God knows and understands this more than I do!

When I entered the hospital via emergency, was stabilized, given a room and doctor, (he probably realizied I was anxious ) he sat beside my bed an said " you know God made our bodies to heal themselves!" I agreed, he went on talking and all sudden he asked me if I was a Christian, I answered "yes", by this time we both were smiling the smile that only two believers could give each other. It was now time for him to go he took my hand prayed one of the most precious prayers I have ever heard prayed! It was not a short prayer but before he petetioned our Heavenly Father for my healing he gave recognition to who God was and quoted scripture verse after scripture before asking, I truly felt the presence of the Lord! God knew what and when  I needed His help He is always on time. This Dr was just a few minutes away from getting off his shift and was going to be away for seven days!

I wanted to have a pretty photo to show you so I stepped outside, these are my summer lilies they smell heavenly,  if I tell you a secret will you promise not to tell my dear sweetheart, I slipped and fell! That's okay I only hurt my pride and my shin! I am okay-smile-
Love
Sue

Now you be careful and no more falling! The flowers are beautiful.
Lord, continue to heal dear Sue and let her eyes work together as they are meant to. Amen.

Oh that there would be more doctors like this precious one. God sent just the person you needed at just the right time. The Lord is so good to us. You keep right on healing and do be careful out there. It can't be easy getting around when the eyes are not working in tandem. Will pray specifically for that issue as you come to mind. I'm sure that I will be thinking of you all.day.long.

oh Sue I am soo upset that I missed this post as I have been watching, praying and thinking of you. Melody was here for a week with her kids and then last week my computer finally bit the dust. But we got a new one last sat and I am good to go. I am soo glad you are doing better and gathering strength. How hard this has had to be on you when you are always soo active. I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear that God sent that doc to you at just the perfect time, and that he took the time to pray with you and bring you comfort and peace. It does take a while for things to heal, but they will! Take care of yourself and keep on doing just what they tell you to do. I am praying for you as often as the Lord brings you to my mind....which is frequently! Much love to you!!

Well my eyes are flooding with tears. Benjamin and I have prayed for you...I told him you were having few health issues. This just makes me shout...BRAVO GOD! You have sown so many spiritual seeds into so many, and to see God reach down through the mouth of a doctor, well the tears are flowing He reminds me what Good hand you are in. You continue to heal..as the Lord does the healing. We love you and think of you often...so often.
