Pear tree lane Farmhouse

~Welcome home~

This blog is dedicated to my dear family who live many miles away, and to you dear ladies , who have a heart for keeping the home fires burning. You, who love and cherish your family, and have a desire to create a home that says "Welcome, you are loved and cared for."

My desire is that when you leave that you will be encouraged and know that you too are loved.

~Monday Musings~

Written by Sue, Monday, February 3, 2020 gorgeous day, sunny, high 70's maybe 80!🌞🌞
This is the best yogurt, only 2 grams of sugar, I just add Maca powder,(great herb for energy all over well being) and nuts, the top has an encouraging message written..... I am surrounding myself with goodness, and here

he is, my hero, Mr P. at PT this morning! Just can't keep a good man down! I am so proud of him.
No pain no gain, so they say!
He looks as though he is taking a nap!

Would you believe they came home with Girl Scout Cookies, do you think I indulged myself, the proof is in the pudding, photos! HELP! I am living with enablers, because I have very little will power,  Actually, I must be loved a lot!~wink~  Even though I had that talk with the Lord about my indulgences a few days ago, I think I need to have a talk with myself! These are the best tasting and freshest cookies ever. All three of my enablers reminded me I must walk today!~grin~
~More Goodness~

Today is shorts, and suntan weather, 78+ degrees, surrounding myself with more goodness, A beautiful sky
a ladybug  wanting to sun today,
Some of the new lambs, I call them the gang of ten! Dre let them roam the front lawn today.

May you day be surrounded with much goodness today,
love,
Sue

Psalm 27:13~ I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living.

Hi Sue~

Looks like PT is coming right along...such good news!

Staying on track is really hard! I did really good, right up until Christmas, then cookies and candy happened... ;0)

I love that you are having warm temps. When I got up this morning it was 8 degrees, the wind was blowing 25 mph and it was snowing...I'd give anything for 78 degrees right now. But it will come soon enough!

Your photos are so pretty, love seeing those cute little lambs!

Hope your week is a good one!

Hugs and Love,
Barb

Ahh...look at those cute little lambies! Woohoo for your PT warrior. 78 degrees, that's something else. We started in the teens today but the sun is shining and it is glorious! Enjoy your first week of February!

So much goodness surrounding you, I don't know how you can contain it all! And Girl Scout cookies already? Wow. We just can't get a break from the goodies! LOL. So glad your hubby is doing so well with his PT. He looks like he is ready and raring to go!! Love those lambs. What a beautiful sight! We are also very warm this afternoon..it says it is only 72 degrees, but it feels warmer than that to me out in the sunshine. I may have to peel off some of my clothes and go sit in the sun a while too! Yes, it would be so easy to "lose heart" without seeing the "goodness of the Lord" all around us. He is alive and well, praise God!! Wonderful cheery post today!! Have a blessed week.

Oh those lambs... precious.

Somehow I have managed to avoid Girl Scout cookies for three years...I used to have an enabler. I am sure the walk in such fine weather was a blessing.

Mr. PT Lane has grit and determination. Just like you! Ongoing prayers...

He looks wonderful, and I know he will be even stronger than before! As to the cookies, a little treat now and then makes life so much better.

Nobody has tried to sell me GS cookies in several years...and that's a good thing because I CAN'T EAT JUST ONE. Yep! I'll eat the whole box if no one is watching:) I had to go to PT couple years ago...didn't like it but did LOVE laying on this heated table/bed thingie. They would turn off the lights and I would just lay there and chill out. It was WONDERFUL!!!!

Oh no, he doesn't look like he is taking a nap, to me!!!! I have had to do PT, for a knee issue. And it is hard, hard, hard!

So glad he is dedicated. Which of course is wise. After all, he wants to regain full use of that knee!

So wonderful! I am so happy for him!

😊 🌱 😊

I 'd have eaten those cookies too even though I'm on a diet! Not warm here yet in Suffolk UK but we do have sunshine today and with spring flowers in the garden I feel summer is on its way.
