Monday was an absolutely beautiful Blue day for me,...
Blueberry picking time is here again, I do enjoy this season so much!
The blueberries are so plentiful this year!!
Picking is always so much more fun under a big blue sky,
Did someone say Luscious? Blueberry jam is on the agenda for this week!
~There were more Blues in my day~
A blue checkered tablecloth set with roses, and violets, and my favorite everyday dishes!
A big blue clock, purchased at Hobby Lobby with 66% off! Couldn't resist, "Carolina Blue" don't cha' know!!
A new blue door mat
To wipe these dirty blue clogs on! We don't wear shoes inside our home, this has always been a practice from the beginning of our marriage! Love my clogs!!!
While at Hobby Lobby yesterday I noticed the Fall and Christmas decorations were out! WOW!, it seems merchants are rushing the seasons, no wonder we are always rushing around, we are trying to keep up with them! What a shame!
I am trying to learn to "Savor" the days that the lord provides for me! though it is easy to get caught up in the everyday rush, God is so gracious to us in so many ways
Psalm 118~ 24 ~ This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Last, but not least, though he is not blue, I will share one of God's beautiful creatures, the tree frog, he reside here on my porch, along with many others in his family. I don't like the mess they make, but since they eat a lot of insects, I've decided they can stay! Here he is climbing a wall, so amazing!
Thats about all from the farmhouse for today, I hope you are having a most blessed day.
Love,

Love all your blues....what a great post! Can't wait for blueberry picking time here....not for another month or so. The porch is gorgeous and I am sure the little frog loves it there with all the foliage! We don't wear shoes in our house either....makes for a messy front hall!
Lovely , lovely and the porch looks so cool and inviting.
We have shoes at the front and back doors for out side ware.
But the house still gets grime and needs dusting.
Lovely blues. I know I've said this before but I LOVE your porch. It is the nicest one I have ever seen!!!
I'd love some of those blueberries on my cereal. : )
Hi Sue, I love your Blue themed day! I have to tell you when we were in Ireland, my youngest texted me and said you've got Blueberry bushes(mind you are entire family is crazy 'bout blueberries. I asked where and she said we had two trees; also proceeded to tell me that she researched it and blueberries do come in trees. So we came home and although the berries do look like blueberries, they have small seeds, so I'm not convinced. Got to take a cutting down to the nursery to check it out. It would be so cool if we did, but I don't remember blueberries from last summer. Hope you have a great week.
Lots of love,
Noreen
He can stay? Wow! You are a nice lady. He'd get the boot so fast here. LOL
I do want to learn about the baked blueberry handpies. Bluebery pie is my favorite dessert in all the world.
My oldest son Joe is a farmer in his heart I think, lol. He has a very small garden and two blueberry bushes that he gets a pretty good crop from. He is always soo excited when they ripen, lol. He'd love your! How I LOVE your porch....I am sure I must have mentioned it a few dozen times or so over the years, but it's just soo perfect. Just the place you'd want to sit and cherish those moments in life that can't be bought. It's funny whenever I am telling someone about you for one reason or another, I ALWAYS mention that "she has the beautiful porch you've ever seen" And you do....Enjoy these summer days Sue, and have a wonderful 4th!

Oh, Sue~ I wished I could have helped you pick some of those wonderful blueberries! They look delicious. And your porch is gorgeous... so glad you left little "Kermit" alone! *hahaha*
You have such beautiful flowers and I love the color in the header photo! I know you must really enjoy your deck with the birds frolicking in the water surrounded by lovely flowers!
Your posts are just the BEST!!! I love Blueberries and can't wait for you to share your recipe for friend Blueberry Pies. I love your front porch, so cozy and welcoming looking. And, the blue checkered table cloth, so cute! Happy 4th Sue!
Good Morning and Happy 4th of July to you! You would not believe who I was thinking about this morning... YOU...
Where do the days go? I am still laughing over the post about PJ Gardening ;o)
Blessings to you and I always love to see your post and your lovely home!
Love, Roxy
Love love love your porch!
I am in love with your front porch! It looks so inviting and comfortable and like a place i would love to just hang out at! :)
And those blueberries look delicious!
Those blueberries look so perfect! They are one of my favorite fruits! And, I have always so admired your porch. It was what inspired me to begin hanging sheer curtains on my patio. This year our 25 year old patio is undergoing renovations. All new posts, lattice and trim. And, we are considering adding a ceiling fan. So, no sheers are hung yet.
A joy visiting with you!
I could spend all day reading on your front porch...just amazing! So fun to see all of the blueberries you picked and the delicious dessert you made. Thank you for visiting me a couple of weeks ago and your nice comment. Sorry it has taken me so long to visit you. Busy summer!
Take care,
Nora
Hi Sue!
What a fun post! I love Blueberries, and everything that can be made with them. I will look forward to that, hand pie recipe!
They are building a new, Ho**y Lobby where I live, and I can hardly wait. The closest one is over 200 miles away! They really do have great deals - I love your blue clock!
I think I have told you before how much I adore your porch! I would love to sit and sip a cold drink with you on it...it's just gorgeous, no wonder the little tree frog lives there!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Barb
I am crazy over your door mat and wow what a beautiful post card porch. I want to spend time sitting and enjoying your porch...
Eye catching beautiful everything you place is.... and can't wait for you to see the pie post.... wink!
Hugs
Sue, I feel as if I am behind in everything...including visiting my blog friends! Life has been busy (you know all about that though, don't you?), but with good things. To everything there is a season.
What beautiful blues you are sharing with us! Those luscious looking berries have my mouth watering...as does that blueberry hand pie. Yum! And I love imagining my friend Sue slipping on her blue clogs and going to work in her beloved garden! Hugs...
I love everything about this from the blueberries to the porch to the frog! I didn't get to pick blueberries this year, the farm closed down and the nearest place is four hours away. I pray your summer continues with such abundance. Hugs from Benjamin and I
